Leia’s own personal journey has inspired her pursuit in the practice of psychotherapy. In her personal work Leia found that a balance of yoga, meditation, and integrative therapy has supported her interest in self-reflection and personal growth.
Leia takes an integrative, holistic, approach to psychotherapy that supports the mind-body connection. This work involves a weaving together of different modalities to meet the individual needs of clients. These modalities may include, but are not limited to, psychodynamic, somatic, transpersonal, mindfulness-based practices, attachment theory, emotionally focused work, and parts-based work.

Leia believes that suffering occurs when we separate from our true Self. She holds that healing occurs relationally within therapy when the client feels seen, heard, and held with a conscious awareness. She has experience working with grief and loss, relationships, life transitions and complex trauma. Leia’s presence is warm, friendly, and empathetic in her work with clients.
