Jane Moran is a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who prioritizes attunement, co-regulation, and relational safety in the therapeutic container. She believes the foundation for organic growth and healing Is the client’s experience of being welcomed and supported as a whole being, while working to understand all aspects of them.
Jane works collaboratively and holistically with clients, offering tools and perspectives from a range of practices including polyvagal-informed nervous system tracking, somatic approaches to trauma, and IFS-style parts work.
Jane holds a particular interest in relationships and communication. She aims at supporting individuals who are seeking to change personal, cultural, or inherited relationship dynamics and to experience more connection and belonging in their lives. Part of this process involves a mindful shift to present centered awareness. This work involves processing past traumas or hurts that get in the way of present moment safety and connection. |
Jane’s years living on the land and has a deep connection with nature. She is anchored by a strong understanding of and appreciation for the innate mechanisms of growth that express themselves through all living beings. Clearing the blockages of trauma and tension left over from our past experiences can re-open many doors of possibility and allow for the expression of a more balanced, energized version of Self.
She brings over 13 years of experience as a bodyworker, dancer, and mindfulness practitioner, as well as training in Non-Violent Communication, Hakomi, EMDR, and other somatic therapy modalities, to her work with clients. She works well with clients who desire to feel more connected to the somatic and psychological undercurrents of their behaviors and experiences.
Clinical areas of interest:
Relationships and communication
Boundaries and healthy differentiation.
Increased Self-awareness and connection to self.
Jane Moran holds a Masters in Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies with a Somatic focus. She is currently a Registered Associate Marriage Family Therapist Associate supervised by Kristina Kopko, LMFT, License #53393.
