“The body has been designed to renew itself through continuous self-correction. These same principles also apply to the healing of psyche, spirit, and soul.”
― Peter A. Levine

Jane Moran is a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who prioritizes attunement, co-regulation, and relational safety within the therapeutic container.  She believes the foundation for organic growth and healing Is the client’s experience of being welcomed and supported as a whole being, while working to understand all aspects of self.
Jane works collaboratively and holistically with clients, offering tools and perspectives from a range of practices including Somatics, Internal Family Systems, Hakomi, and Non-Violent Communication.  Jane holds a particular interest in relationships and communication and works well with clients who desire to feel more connected to the somatic and psychological undercurrents of their behaviors and experiences.  She especially enjoys supporting clients seeking to change personal, cultural, or inherited relationship dynamics and to experience more connection and belonging in their lives.  Part of this process involves a mindful shift to present centered awareness, as well as processing past traumas or hurts that get in the way of present moment safety and connection.

Jane brings over 13 years of experience as a body-worker, mover, and mindfulness practitioner, as well as many years working with non-profits and grassroots community and sustainability projects.  She is anchored by a strong understanding of and appreciation for the innate mechanisms of growth that express themselves through all living beings, and prioritizes safety in the therapeutic relationship.  She welcomes clients of all backgrounds, gender, sexuality, and relationship orientations.

Clinical areas of interest:

Relationships and communication
Boundaries and healthy differentiation.
Increased Self-awareness and connection to self

Jane Moran holds a Masters in Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies with a Somatic focus.  Additionally, she has completed Level 1 training with the Internal Family Systems Institute, Basic Training in EMDR, Hakomi Level 3 with Heart of Hakomi, and the Sex Therapy Certificate through CIIS.  She is currently a Registered Associate Marriage Family Therapist Associate supervised by Kristina Kopko, LMFT, License #53393
