Ellen uses a relational and integrative approach in her work with clients. Her supportive presence allows for a sense of safety and security within the therapeutic relationship that permits clients to feel curious and courageous in exploring their inner landscape. Her intention is to walk alongside her clients, as she holds a light that allows for an exploration of a path forward.
Ellen believes that pain results from attachments to people, places, things, and emotional states that are inherently impermanent. She holds that healing happens as we learn how to accept change and uncertainty. She trusts that the more we develop curiosity and presence of our internal experiences, the more we become able live in the moment and respond appropriately to what occurs.

Ellen has experience working with transitional aged youth, newcomers to the United States, and individuals in crisis situations. In her work with grief and loss, she has been inspired by the courage, strength and resilience of individuals who take steps to process and heal. She is confident that with enough support individuals can overcome hardship. Ellen believes that this healing journey can lead to a discovery of new insights, regarding ourselves and the world, that will be treasured.
