Christina’s therapeutic approach in working with individuals and couples is integrative. She recognizes that no two persons are the same and that each person requires a treatment plan that is adapted to meet their needs. She recognizes that experiences of trauma and pain are two unavoidable life experiences. However, she believes that there is a resiliency and strength inside each individual that that supports a path of healing.
Christina meets clients with warmth, openness, and acceptance. She holds a consistent curiosity and empathy for the individual experiences and unique journeys of her clients. It is her aim to foster a therapeutic environment that allows individuals to feel safe, respected, and heard, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic, gender and sexual identities. She believes that for an individual to truly heal, they must first experience a sense of safety within the therapeutic relationship.
