Andy is a warm and reflective integrative therapist. His presence is gentle, energetic, attuned and at times humorous. He brings a sense of wonder, spontaneity and creativity when exploring existential issues with clients.
He believes that pain is an outcome of harmful conditions that have resulted in a need for adaptive responses for survival. And, when these responses become entrenched our bodies and psyches, parts of ourselves become closed off, and agency is diminished. As we resolve the patterns that no longer serve us, we come home to a more expansive sense of self.

Andy has experience working with individuals with chronic pain, grief, depression, and psychosomatic issues. He has experience working with teenagers who struggle with attention and focus related issues. Additionally, he has worked with individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, the effects of systemic racism, severe psychopathology, and substance use through the Care Through Touch Institute.

In his work with clients, he brings awareness of his privilege and potential blind spots which allows him to maintain cultural humility when working cross culturally. He believes that there is always more to learn and that our competency continually grows. Andy is interested in working with individuals who identify as a non-binary, gender queer bisexual person. He is interested in other LGBTQ+ issues as well.
