Zach creates a space where clients can slow down and be themselves. His style is gentle, relational, and engaged, with a focus on building a real connection so clients don’t feel alone in what they’re going through. Together, Zach and his clients take time to get to know one another and explore places where clients may feel stuck, at a pace that feels right. His work is grounded in psychodynamic and attachment-based therapy, while also drawing from mindfulness, existential ideas, and emotionally focused therapy.

He understands that change usually doesn’t come from a single breakthrough moment, but from having a space where clients feel safe enough to be honest, curious, and open to new experiences. Many of the ways people learn to cope make sense at one time, but can start to feel limiting over time. Therapy can be a place to gently explore those patterns and begin relating to oneself in new ways that feel more connected and alive.
Zach has experience working with individuals and couples navigating trauma, grief, shame, and relationship challenges. He works with clients who may understand some of their patterns but still feel stuck, as well as couples who want more closeness, better communication, or support working through conflict. |
In his work, Zach values authenticity, curiosity, and mutual respect. He aims to create a space where clients feel seen and supported, while also opening room to explore the deeper layers of their experience. He especially enjoys working with couples and with individuals who are interested in understanding themselves more deeply and living in a more connected way.
