Slava’s approach to therapy has been shaped by his experiences navigating identity, belonging, and connection as both a child and adult in diverse cultural contexts. Growing up as an immigrant and spending much of the past decade living across Europe, Latin America, and Africa, Slava developed an appreciation for the different ways people make sense of themselves and their lives. These experiences continue to inform his clinical perspective and his belief in the power of therapy to support meaningful self-understanding and change.

Slava brings a calm, thoughtful, and open-minded presence to the therapeutic space. He works to cultivate a space that balances safety with curiosity and where clients feel supported to explore their inner worlds and approach life’s complexities with reflection, honesty, and care. His approach is relational and collaborative, grounded in the belief that healing occurs in attuned, trusting relationships.

Rather than rushing to resolve discomfort, Slava encourages slowing down and listening closely to what difficult experiences might be pointing toward. He values the unique pace and process of each individual, supporting clients in connecting their day-to-day experiences with the bigger questions that matter to them.
Slava works well with individuals and couples who are curious, open to exploring complexity, and ready for honest, reflective dialogue, whether in the context of traditional relationships or nontraditional structures such as ethical nonmonogamy and polyamory. His approach invites gentle insight and growth, always honoring each client’s individuality, history, and readiness for change.
Clinical areas of interest:
Interpersonal Relationships and Emotional Intimacy
