"We will find hope in the impossible."
-Commander Spock

Therapy with Jadzia is a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and begin to feel more grounded in who you actually are.

Nothing is too strange, too messy, or too contradictory to bring into the room.

They bring curiosity to what people carry beneath the surface, including the tender places, tangled feelings, and parts that rarely get spoken aloud.

Jadzia's approach is informed by disability justice and mad liberation frameworks, with awareness of how oppressive systems and chronic stress under unjust conditions can impact mental health, wellbeing, and the body. Their work is also shaped by lived experience and a commitment to honoring clients' resilience, autonomy, and self-determination.

Many of the struggles people bring into therapy are understandable responses to difficult life experiences, often shaped by chronic stress, unmet needs, disconnection from community, or environments that were not supportive. Jadzia does not pathologize pain or see the person experiencing it as the problem.

Rather than focusing on what is "wrong," they support clients in getting curious about what their patterns may be trying to protect and what might be needed now. Healing is not about fixing yourself. It is about building enough safety, connection, and awareness to relate to yourself in new ways. Often, coping, shutting down, or pushing through are strategies that once helped get through difficult situations. Exploring those patterns with curiosity, rather than judgment, can open space for change.

Jadzia’s approach is relational, collaborative, and grounded in warmth, curiosity, and a non-judgmental presence. They integrate somatic psychology, mindfulness, harm reduction, and systems-aware perspectives to support clients in exploring the connection between mind, body, and emotions, at a pace that feels manageable.

In session, they help clients slow down and notice what is happening internally, especially during moments of stress, shutdown, or overwhelm. They support clients in noticing sensations, emotions, and patterns that may not have had much space before, while moving at a pace that honors the nervous system.

Their work may include psychoeducation, breath-based practices, visualization, and movement. They support clients in building regulation skills, strengthening self-trust, and increasing capacity for emotional awareness and connection.

Jadzia brings warmth, humor, compassion, and an embodied presence into the therapy room. They show up as both a grounded presence and a thoughtful challenger, believing that meaningful change grows through honesty, curiosity, and care rather than pressure or performance. Imagination, playfulness, and connection are also important parts of the healing process.

They work with children, adolescents, and young adults, as well as neurodivergent, chronically ill, and disabled clients, LGBTQIA+ communities, and those in non-monogamous or kink-affirming relationships. They are especially drawn to supporting clients exploring identity, emotional intensity, nervous system regulation, and belonging.
Jadzia works best with clients who are curious about themselves and open to exploring the connection between their emotions, bodies, and lived experiences.

Jadzia believes therapy can be a place to rest, heal, grow, and discover what feels right for you, with support and care at a pace that feels sustainable.

Clinical areas of interest:
  • Nervous system regulation and somatic awareness
  • Trauma and attachment patterns
  • Identity exploration and LGBTQIA+ affirming care
  • Neurodivergent-affirming support and emotional regulation
