Eli brings a great deal of personal and professional life experience to his work with clients at Heart in Balance. He has worked with severe emotional trauma as a Behavior Specialist and Crisis Interventionist and currently has a life coaching business which he has had for several years. He approaches his work with clients as a grounded male-identified practitioner who understands this gives him a particular perspective that impacts the relational dynamic. He works to address this impact by building his own mindfulness practice and seek out support and feedback from his colleagues and friends.
With this experience Eli thinks of himself as helping clients develop deeper relationships with their inner wisdom while staying connected to others. He found that his own therapy experience transformed his life and decided to give back to others. He approaches his work from a client-centered focus utilizing gestalt, humanistic and Ecotherapy. He believes pain is caused by disintegration of the mind, body, heart and spirit. He wishes to be available to help others find ways of working with these aspects of being, so that they can become aligned and working in balance with one another.
