"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change."
– Carl Rogers

Eileen brings a warm, steady, and open presence to her work with clients. She offers a space where people can slow down, speak honestly about what feels confusing or heavy, and begin to understand patterns that may have been hard to put into words. She works with care and respect for each person’s pace, experience, and readiness.

Eileen believes that clients already carry an inner sense of knowing. Her work is about helping people reconnect with that sense of themselves. She does not see her role as leading or directing, but as staying alongside clients in a way that supports them in noticing and trusting their own experience more fully.

In sessions, Eileen pays close attention to what is happening in the moment, including thoughts, emotions, and what is felt in the body. She is interested in how slowing down can help people notice things they may usually move past quickly. She also pays attention to pacing, especially when there are trauma histories, so that the work stays within what feels manageable and supportive.

She understands that many people carry experiences such as self-doubt, shame, or relational patterns that repeat over time even when they are painful. She holds these patterns with the understanding that they often develop for understandable reasons and can be met with care rather than judgment.

Eileen also pays attention to what happens in the relationship between therapist and client. She sees this relationship as an important part of the work where trust can build over time and where moments of connection, distance, or repair can all become meaningful.

She is especially drawn to working with adults navigating complex or longstanding relational patterns, identity questions, life transitions, and the impact of early experiences that continue to show up in the present. She also works with people who appear capable on the outside but feel disconnected internally, as well as those looking to build more self-trust and steadiness.

Eileen brings a strong commitment to cultural humility. She approaches each person without assumption and stays curious about how identity, culture, and life context shape each individual’s experience.
