Dema brings a deep curiosity and reverence for the emotional lives people carry, especially the parts that often go unspoken: the pain, the contradictions, the hidden or exiled parts of self.
|
Her path into therapy was shaped by a personal and collective awareness of what happens when people go unsupported. Exhausted by the emotional neglect so many endure, Dema chose this work out of a belief that everyone deserves a space where they can be seen fully, and where healing doesn’t require perfection.
In therapy, Dema shows up as both a grounded presence and a thoughtful challenger. She believes the therapeutic relationship is a collaborative one, where both therapist and client bring valuable insight, and where real change can begin through honesty, curiosity, and care. She does not pathologize pain, and never villainizes the people experiencing it. Instead, she invites clients to slow down, sit with complexity, and explore the layered stories that shape who they are and how they relate to the world. |
Dema brings a non-judgmental, relational lens to her work and holds space for clients to explore the fullness of their emotional experience, even when it feels messy or unclear. She is especially attuned to working with those navigating identity, intense emotional states, and the complexities of human connection. As a Middle Eastern clinician, she brings cultural awareness to the room while approaching all identities with humility and openness.
