Cindy is a culturally informed therapist whose approach is rooted in empathy, openness, and a deep respect for the complexity of human experience. As a Korean American immigrant who moved to the U.S. at the age of five, she understands what it means to live between cultures and how identity is shaped by both seen and unseen influences.

Cindy’s therapeutic presence is warm, grounded, and collaborative. She works to create a space where clients feel safe to show up as they are, without judgment, and where healing begins through honest, connected exploration. Through extensive travel and exposure to diverse cultures, Cindy approaches her work with a perspective, shaped by a deep respect for diverse worldviews. These life experiences inform her commitment to walking alongside clients as they navigate pain, rediscover connection, and grow into deeper versions of themselves.

Her style is relational, gentle, and curious. Cindy believes that pain often arises from disconnection, whether from ourselves, others, or our communities, and that healing takes root when we feel seen, valued, and heard. Rather than rushing toward solutions, she supports clients in moving at their own pace, honoring the wisdom in their lived experiences and the inner strength they already possess.
Cindy is especially passionate about working with individuals navigating multicultural or bicultural identities, including the Asian American experience and the challenges of acculturation. She also has experience supporting families managing the intersection of work, parenting, and cultural expectations. She is committed to working with people from all walks of life and approaches each therapeutic relationship with humility, cultural sensitivity, and a willingness to learn.
