Chris began his movement towards becoming a psychotherapist through his discovery of a Reiki practice. He brings 10+ years to his own spiritual growth. It has been through this work that he discovered the impact one can have by providing healing to another. He approaches struggles from a multiple angle lens and believes that providing support a person can work through their problems and grow. Because of his training in Reiki, Chris is quite attuned to the energy of a room and use this knowledge to facilitate his work with clients.
Chris brings a humanistic approach to his work with clients. He remains present and curious. His perspective is that pain is something that informs us that something has gone wrong. He thinks of suffering as the replaying of that pain in our minds and through our bodies. Healing happens when one moves past the suffering and helps the mind and body re-align with itself.
