Anna has dedicated her life to working with youth, woman-identifying folx, and the LGBTQIA+ population. This dedication has led her to hold a variety of roles in the helping professions. She has lived, studied, and worked internationally, including Africa, Asia, and Central America. Before continuing her education in Expressive Arts Therapy, she worked as a photographer.
Anna has been drawn to this work through navigating the waves of her own mental health journey and stepping into the reality of being a Highly Sensitive, empathic, queer Being in a constructed and conditioned world. She believes in reclaiming the soft, spilling heart as one of the strongest and most powerful paths to walk. As a deeply relational therapist, Anna feels passionately about supporting her clients to reclaim the stories of their own lives. She strongly believes in centering racial justice, LGBTQIA+ rights, disability rights, and women's rights as well as unpacking our privileges and highlighting the multi-layered systemic oppressions of our human world within her work with people.

In her therapeutic practices, she prioritizes holistic embodiment— nurture of the Mind, Body, and Spirit. In the use of expressive arts, Anna centers the expansion of the imaginative realm in the therapy space utilizing art making, writing, movement, somatic awareness, and creative play. She sees herself not as a leader in the therapy space, but rather as a supportive and loving guide so that you may step further into your own leading role. She is deeply dedicated to applying her passion of intimacy and connection (of the Self, the body, others, and nature) into her work with clients.
