Allie is an intuitive and compassionate therapist that can at times sit back, listen and reflect, while at other times work in a more engaged and direct manner. What she always brings, however, is curiosity, warmth, attunement and humor. Having experienced several challenges in her life, and doing her own work has given her the ability to sit with people and in their pain. She can provide support and safety to clients if they want to explore more deeply into their feelings, experiences and pain.
Allie graduated from JFK University with a degree in Clinical Counseling, specializing in Depth Psychology. Her approach to her work with clients is relational and collaborative. This enables her to seek out deep connection with clients which, in turn, helps them to deepen connections with others, outside of the room. This experience of disconnection from others is what often brings clients into the therapy office—be it issues of self-esteem, communication, depression, anxiety, or feelings of loneliness and isolation.

She sees pain as a natural part of the human experience and that often the bigger, more problematic response happens when a person pushes or denies that pain. Allie creates an environment where a client will feel supported and held, which can allow them to feel safer to more directly experience and address the pain they carry. She sees that clients can do this better when not alone, thus her role is to help them relate to the truth of their life with a deeper awareness and self-compassion.
